“The Love Train”
What does it look like when God's glory fills a room? In Isaiah 6, verses 1 through 4, the prophet Isaiah receives a vision so overwhelming that it brings him to his knees in humility and awe. At the heart of this vision is a striking detail: the train of God's robe filling the entire temple. But this is far more than a description of divine wardrobe. In the ancient world, when a king conquered another kingdom, the defeated king's robe would be sewn onto the back of the victorious king's train. With every new victory, the train grew longer. So when Isaiah sees this train filling the temple, he is witnessing a declaration of God's total and complete victory over every enemy, every principality, every form of evil, sickness, sin, and death. The train is heavy with conquest, and it is all for us. This message invites us to see God not just as holy and majestic, but as a warrior who has already won every battle we face. When life feels overwhelming, when the enemy seems relentless, we are called to look at the train and remember: it is already done. The victory is already sewn in.
